This Christmas, step into the magic of DreamMaze at Wynyard Hall Gardens — back for 2025/26 and transformed into a sparkling world of festive dreams.
Families are invited on an unforgettable interactive Christmas adventure through six enchanting dream rooms, each filled with games, riddles, and playful festive challenges. Guided by the mischievous Slumberbottom team, children will collect special dream ingredients along the way, coming together to create their very own Dream Jar to take home.
But this is no ordinary maze. Behind every door lies a new surprise — hidden corners, dazzling sets, and imaginative storytelling that bring Christmas dreams to life. With twinkling lights, festive sounds, and hands-on fun at every turn, DreamMaze is a family Christmas experience in the North East like no other.

DreamMaze: Christmas at Wynyard Hall is a magical interactive family Christmas maze experience. Visitors journey through six themed dream rooms, completing festive games and challenges while collecting dream ingredients to make their own Dream Jar.

The event is designed for families with children aged 3–10, but visitors of all ages are welcome. It’s full of imagination, storytelling, and gentle festive fun — perfect for families seeking a Christmas day out in the North East.

Each session lasts around 45–60 minutes, depending on how long families spend exploring, crafting, and playing.

The event takes place at the stunning Wynyard Hall Gardens, in the North East of England. Parking is available on site, and the Gardens Café and gift shop will be open for festive refreshments.

Whilst we strive to make DreamMaze as accsessible as possible, areas of the maze have uneven ground and gravel paths, which may impact Wheelchair users, prams/buggies or certain walking aids.
