This immersive family Halloween event invites children and grown-ups alike to wander through a maze of twisting pathways and magical rooms, each brought to life with lights, sound, and just the right touch of Halloween mischief.
The Bat Ballroom –
Craft your very own Trick-or-Treat bag and get ready for the adventure ahead.
The Witch’s Chamber –
Learn spells, mix potions, and discover what it takes to become a real witch or wizard.
The Skeleton Playground –
Play spooky games and test your courage among the skeleton crew!
Along the way, little ghouls will collect clues, uncover treats, and complete fun interactive challenges before escaping the maze — earning their title as a certified DreamMaze Witch!

DreamMaze: Witches’ Walkway is an immersive family Halloween maze experience at Wynyard Hall Gardens. Children and families journey through themed rooms, solve clues, and meet playful Halloween characters while creating their own Trick-or-Treat bag and collecting spooky treats along the way.

DreamMaze is designed for families with children aged 3–10, though visitors of all ages are welcome. It’s a fun, family-friendly event — more magical than scary, with gentle frights and plenty of laughter.

The full experience lasts around 40–50 minutes, including interactive moments, crafts, and photo opportunities throughout the maze.

Tickets will be available online soon. You can pre-register now to unlock an early-bird discount and get first access when tickets go live. Early booking is strongly recommended, as sessions often sell out quickly.

The event takes place in the beautiful Wynyard Hall Gardens, located in the North East of England. Free on-site parking is available for visitors.

Yes! DreamMaze is designed to be family-friendly and accessible. The paths are suitable for prams and wheelchairs, though we recommend checking weather conditions as the event is partially outdoors.Whilst we strive to make DreamMaze as accsessible as possible, areas of the maze have uneven ground and gravel paths, which may impact Wheelchair users, prams/buggies or certain walking aids.
